Terms of Service

The rules for using HookQ to connect apps and run actions through agents.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

About these terms

HookQ is a product of Statelogic. These terms apply to your use of the HookQ website, dashboard, API, and MCP service. By creating an account or using HookQ, you agree to these terms. If you use HookQ for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials and HookQ API keys secure. Give each key only the permissions an agent needs, and revoke a key if it may have been exposed. You must provide accurate account and billing information and use the service in compliance with applicable law.

Connected apps and actions

You may connect only accounts and data you are authorized to use. Connecting an app grants HookQ the permissions you approve with that provider. When you or an agent call a HookQ action, HookQ sends the request to the connected provider on your behalf. Some actions can create, send, change, or delete information in that provider.

Write actions require the caller to set a confirmation flag. That flag is an API safeguard; it does not by itself verify that a person reviewed the action. You are responsible for configuring agents, reviewing their permissions, and obtaining any approvals needed for the actions they take. Each connected provider's terms also apply to your use of its service.

Acceptable use

You must not use HookQ to:

  • Access accounts, systems, or information without permission.
  • Send spam, malware, or other harmful or unlawful content.
  • Bypass usage limits, security controls, or provider restrictions.
  • Interfere with the service or another person's use of it.

We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect the service, other users, or connected providers, or to respond to a violation of these terms.

Trials, subscriptions, and cancellation

The free trial is one-time, lasts 15 days, and does not automatically become a paid subscription. Its connection and action limits are shown on the pricing page. Paid plans renew through Razorpay at the price and billing interval shown at checkout. Your paid access begins after payment is confirmed. Applicable taxes and payment terms are shown during checkout.

You can cancel a paid subscription from the billing page. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so access continues until then. When a trial or paid period expires, actions may pause while saved connections remain in your account. For questions about a charge or refund, contact Statelogic; any applicable legal rights remain available to you.

Service changes and availability

We may update HookQ, its integrations, limits, or prices. We will show the current plans and prices before you start a new paid subscription. Connected providers may change or stop their APIs, which can affect HookQ features. We work to keep the service available, but interruptions and errors can occur.

Your data and our service

You keep any rights you have in the data you provide or access through connected apps. You authorize HookQ to process that data only as needed to provide the service and carry out your requests. Statelogic and its licensors retain rights in the HookQ software, design, and documentation. See the Privacy Policy for how information is handled.

Responsibility and changes to these terms

To the extent allowed by applicable law, HookQ is provided as available without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited. We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update, and material changes will be communicated through the service or another appropriate channel.
